What is officially confirmed
Steam confirms that acquired loot can be traded with other players on the Steam Community Market and that the player-driven economy is a core Early Access testing target. Trading is player-to-player, so prices are set entirely by other players.
What players report selling
Launch-week Indonesian footage says red items, blue accessories and red/blue jewel-like materials were selling. That is category evidence, not a guarantee that every item in those categories is tradeable or profitable. A second Indonesian streamer showed completed red and purple gear sales in his market history, and a Brazilian streamer recorded a diamond pouch sale plus live Gold Bar listings. Amounts below are each streamer’s local currency — never cross-compare them.
| Item players showed | What the stream recorded |
|---|---|
| Red gear pieces | Completed sales from roughly Rp 1,000 up to Rp 26,000 each |
| Blue accessories | Already selling during launch week |
| Diamond pouch (5 diamonds) | Sold the day it dropped; buyers offered more the next morning |
| Gold Bar | A friend’s bar reportedly sold in a day, far above small gear sales |
| Meta Ranger bow | Very high asks, with no sign any had sold |
How a listing actually works (player-reported)
The Brazilian day-one stream walked through the loop:
- Open the in-game Market button — players report it unlocks around account level 19, though one streamer remembered “17 or 19”.
- Pick a tradeable item and confirm the announcement. Each listing consumes one diamond.
- The item moves into your Steam inventory, where you list it on the Community Market. The dialog asks what you want to receive — in the demo, receiving 10 meant the buyer paid 11.50 to cover Steam’s cut.
- Confirm via the Steam mobile authenticator notification.
- Items you buy arrive back in the in-game marketplace storage list, claimed into your mailbox.
Your Steam account must also be in selling shape — Steam Guard not recently changed, some purchase history, no market restrictions. One English-language launch streamer hit a market restriction message on launch day, so test your account with a cheap purchase first. Diamonds gate selling speed: players report one arriving roughly every four hours — about six listings per day.
Pricing without exact data
With no price site for a game days old, streamers anchored to the live listings. The Brazilian streamer undercut by about 1 to 1.50 — cheapest visible without crashing the price — and his tier-5 cape went up that way while other sellers sat higher and buyers bid lower underneath. The Indonesian streamer undercut by the tiniest increment to top the list, or left the price alone when unhurried. The market UI also shows an average-price readout.
Two cautions. Prices swing fast: the pouch sold one morning drew much higher offers by the next day as altar demand spiked. And the “you receive” figure, not the listing price, is what you take home — the seller who sold at 14 netted about 10.
Currency mistakes from launch week
- Asking meta prices on day one. The popular Ranger’s bow drew eye-watering asks, and the streamer saw no sign any had sold.
- Selling a rising item a day early. The same seller watched demand push the pouch past his sale price overnight.
- Burning all diamonds on upgrades. No diamond means no listing.
- Ignoring Steam account standing. Restrictions surface exactly when you try to list, so verify first.
- Assuming every drop is tradeable. Check the item’s market flag before planning a sale around it.
Sell-or-keep checklist
- Does it materially upgrade your current class?
- Does it enable a strong class switch?
- Is it tradeable in the current client/market?
- Is the live market price meaningful after fees?
- Will combining it create more progression value than selling it?
If you keep it, combining duplicates is the progression play; fodder is worth more dismantled into gold than listed. If you sell, streams show proceeds going straight back into the game — passes, contracts, a permanent shop buff, expedition entries.
Quick FAQ
Does listing cost money? Free to play, but each announcement consumes one diamond, and Steam takes its cut — check the “you receive” line.
How many items can I list per day? Around six, based on the reported four-hour diamond cadence.
What price should I pick with no price data available? Anchor to the live listings or the average-price readout and undercut slightly — one style optimizes for speed, the other for patience.
Should I sell drops now or save them? Both appeared on stream: cash everything to reinvest, or hold until endgame drops outsell launch-week greens. See beginner progression and AFK farming.
